Mould, Odour & Urine Removal

Household carpets are like the filter of your house. The benefit of this is that they hold dust and particles within them, instead of letting the particles float around for us to breathe in (as fully hard-floored houses do). Unfortunately, carpet can also trap smells and, more than likely, any unpleasant smell in your house usually come from the fibre and fabrics in your house. These are carpets, curtains, furniture, bedding and clothes. We can't do your washing for you but we can extract the reasons for the odour in your carpets, mattresses and lounges, and encapsulate any smell or odour that remains, so your house can feel and smell fresh and hygienic. Smells/Odours associated with pets, urine, food to name a few can be eliminated. They may have taken years to build but can take hours to remedy.

Mould Remediation

1. Find the source: We use sophisticated testing equipment to detect the areas that are affected, as sometimes a stain on top can have a larger residue underneath (like an iceberg). Our equipment can pick up damp areas and also uric acid crystals (urine) with a simple touch.
2. Open the source: This may mean pulling the carpet up to get to the base as all levels, from concrete to underlay to backing to pile, need to be sanitized and odourcide applied thoroughly for complete elimination of mould, odours and urine
3. If the walls and ceilings have mould and mildew we also can arrange to have that cleaned. If curtains and blinds are affected we recommend Blind Rescue here in Toowoomba to carry out their professional service.
4. Involves cleaning the entire carpet area in that room and treating it with a full fogging to kill spores and bacteria in the air and on walls, ceilings and curtains in worst case scenarios
5. Dry the area: If the area had to be soaked or a lot of liquid has been used to clean thoroughly, we may have to put an air mover in the room to make sure the area dries quickly, otherwise remaining moisture will bring the problem back

Urine Removal

1. Our best tool in discovering these accidents if not obvious is  a Black Light Torch which makes the stain stand out. We apply our Uriine removal treatment which can help in removing any yellowing or browning.
2. If the backing and underlay are affected a more extensive plan of attack is needed to go into the pile, backing, underlay and pourous concrete or wooden boards. This is added and a flooding Tool is then used to extract.
3. All walls need to be washed down to remove other odour spots and also odour residual with a specialised decontamionant which kills the bacteria and removes the odour as well.

Odour Removal

1. Smell is our greatest tool for this job. However, to be able to pin point where the point of origin is. this involves Black Lights for Urine and moisture detectors for mould and mildew smells.
2. Removal of the the contaminant is needed as would happen in Mould remediation and Urine Removal (see above).
3. The origin of smell can sometimes be unknown and so we then go to our 2 step Odour-Gone Process. first we add a n Odourcide which encapsulates any odour so it stops giving off the odour then we go through and fog the room or house to replace the offensive odour. The fog is intensive as it goes into places where bad odour molecules travel and rest and encapsulate them. The house or room is hut up for an hour and then left to air for half an hour so the process is quick and takes around 2 hours maximum.
